Once upon a time...

I created an image and entered it in a contest. I coppied about 20% of the image from someone else's art - someone cool in a magazine like Adam Warren in the 100% Unofficial Playstation Magazine (I don't remember if that was actually who it was, but it's quite probable). It taught me a lot about drawing, dimensions, foreshortening, and colouring. I also learned how extremely crappy, cheap, and useless I felt after creating it. There was no inner glow of accomplishment. It was enough that I could call it my own, but anyone who looked at it and had happened to see the magazine would know. It was knowledge at a price - and it was pretty steep.

So, here it is. And I HATE it. I wanted to make it go away, but I can't. It is a reminder to me - to do my own thing, learn on my own and don't "rip" from people - however small it is.
