Amazoness Quartet

Reference: this is pretty much a direct copy (not tracing, mind you) of a page from Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Moon manga. It was one of the last pages in one of the graphic novels, I honestly don't remember which one... it's been a long time...
Medium: generic ink, prismacolor pencils, probably JASC Paint Shop Pro for the background gradient and text.

I've always been very fond of Ms. Takeuchi's drawing style. I emulated it and copied it a lot when I was first trying things out. It reminds me very much of fashion illustration, which I also am very fond of.

I thought the Amazoness/Amazon Quartet were fun villains. They had weird wacky costumes. I did think it was a bit odd, though, that they were to be Chibi Usa's inner senshi. First, they were a little off the wall and damaged goods, to me. And second, if Usagi and Mamoru could have a child who inherited the position of Sailor Moon, then why would the inner senshi have to be replaced by asteroid senshi?? Just a bit incongruent to me.
